Woodpeckers Class

In Woodpeckers class, we continue with the solid foundation that the children have had in Early Years and embed their love of learning into years 1 and 2.

Our learning is full of curiosity, creativity and fun, where children are encouraged to become confident, independent learners as they explore new ideas, develop their skills and discover the world around them.

From exciting stories and imaginative writing to practical maths, science investigations, creative arts and hands-on activities, every day brings something new to learn.

We place a strong focus on building positive friendships, developing resilience and celebrating each child's individual achievements.

Our classroom is a happy and supportive environment where children are encouraged to ask questions, have a go, learn from mistakes and take pride in their progress. We can't wait to see our pupils grow, flourish and enjoy their learning journey together!
