Jays class

Welcome to Jays!  We are a year 3 class for seven and eight year olds.  

Each year, we look at a range of exciting and engaging topics, adapting to each cohort and including the interests and needs of the children.

Our topics have included Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Lights, Camera, Action, Anglo Saxons, Ready Steady Grow, Rumble in the Jungle and Victorians.

These topics also include some wonderful trips, such as Marwell Zoo or dress up activity days with a local historian looking at artefacts and using role play.

We enjoy taking our learning outside and making lessons practical, using the woods for Forest School and the swimming pool in the summer term.

Our staff's passion for teaching is evident every hour of every day. Each day is different and we can learn as much from the children as they can learn from us!
