Goldfinch class

Welcome to Goldfinch class! Our children are all year 4s, which includes eight and nine year olds.

Year 4 is an exciting year full of learning, discovery and new challenges. Our pupils are encouraged to be curious, creative and confident as they develop their knowledge and skills across the curriculum.

We work hard to create a positive and supportive classroom where everyone feels valued and encouraged to do their best. From exciting lessons and practical activities to collaborative projects and independent learning, there are plenty of opportunities for children to explore their interests and grow in confidence.

We make extensive use of our school grounds, our nearby dedicated woodland and our own swimming pool to deliver fun, exciting and engaging lessons.

Throughout the year, we will celebrate achievements, learn from mistakes and develop important skills such as teamwork, resilience, independence and responsibility.

We are looking forward to a fantastic year of learning, laughter and memorable experiences in Year 4!
